Can I use BPART?
Yes, EVERYONE is able to use BPART without restriction to age or ability. All of our vehicles are ADA compliant and will accommodate those who need to use a lift to get into our vehicles.
How does it work?
Unlike tradtional public transportation, BPART is a demand-response, curb-to-curb service. So instead of waiting at a bus stop, you will work with our team of schedulers and dispatchers to fit you into the schedule. The night before your scheduled ride you will recieve an automated reminder call. Our buses will pick you up at the curb of your house, and take you to your destination. If you need a ride back, that will be scheduled as well during the initial phone call.
What are your hours?
Our buses run from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with the exception of these observed holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Where do you go?
BPART buses travel throughout our two-county service area (Bureau and Putnam Counties). We also go to the LaSalle/Peru/Oglesby area daily, Ottawa (every Monday), and Peoria (on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays).
How much are your fares?
It depends on where you are going. Make sure to check out our fares page!
